Job Description Ability Action Australia'sSutherland Shireteam are looking for Behaviour Support Practitioners who have current suitability at the Core or Proficient level - as confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safegaurd Commission. Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space. Developing meaningful goals and practical strategiesutilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community. Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths, as well as ensuring they get more out of life. Building the knowledge, capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc. Acting as an advocate and role model for best practice. Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Qualifications To be considered suitable you will have: Current suitability - confirmedby the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission - at the Core or Proficientlevelas a Behaviour Support Practitioner. Completed a degree level qualification as an allied health professional. Report writing experience. Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload. Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to test and learn from new ideas. Genuine passion for working in the disability sector. To be successful in this role, you will be solution focused, highly organised and possess exceptional people skills. You will be passionate about what you do and pride yourself on delivering exceptional customer service.
