Blast & Paint Trades Assistant

About the role

D & E Diesel Services' is seeking a Blast & Paint Trades Assistant to join our team in Waroona WA 6215. This is a casual role and will involve providing essential support to our skilled tradespeople in the blast and paint shop.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing surfaces for painting by blasting and cleaning
• Assisting with the application of paint and other protective coatings
• Ensuring a high standard of finish on all painted components
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
• Supporting the Blast & Paint team as required

What we're looking for

• Some experience in a similar trades assistant role, preferably in a blast and paint environment
• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work safely and follow procedures
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
