Boilermakers/Welders for their growing team.

About the Role As a Boilermaker/Welder, you’ll be hands-on in the workshop, transforming steel into real structures by interpreting plans and executing fabrication with accuracy and pride. You'll play a key role in maintaining production flow, upholding safety, and delivering consistent results.
From brackets and beams to columns and trusses—you’ll help produce top-quality steel that fits perfectly on-site.
Your Key Duties - Read and interpret workshop drawings and weld symbols
- Cut, tack, and assemble structural steel to specification
- Perform MIG welding to AS/NZS standards
- Conduct weld prep and finishing
- Maintain safety standards and wear PPE at all times
- Assist with loading, tagging, and prepping fabricated items for delivery
- Support apprentices and collaborate effectively with supervisors and teammates
- Keep your tools and work area clean and in good order
What Success Looks Like - Clean, accurate welds that pass inspection first time
- Consistent output with minimal rework
- A reputation for safety, reliability, and teamwork
- Well-maintained equipment and tools
- Willingness to speak up and help find solutions when issues arise
What You’ll Need - Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Boilermaker/Welder (structural steel preferred)
- Proficiency in MIG welding and visual weld inspection
- Strong understanding of workshop drawings and fabrication processes
- A safety-first mindset and proactive attitude
- Bonus: Forklift, overhead crane, or confined space tickets (or willingness to obtain)
The Offer - $44–$49 per hour + penalties (based on experience)
- Additional $60/week shift allowance for afternoon shift
- Day shift: 6am–2pm | Afternoon shift: 2pm–10pm (rotating roster)
