NET Modular was established locally over 30 years ago and is at the cutting edge of innovation for the manufacture of transportable modular buildings for the education sector. We are now part of Ausco Modular, Australia and New Zealand’s leading transportable hire, remote accommodation and modular construction company for over 60 years.
We are continuing to grow, and rapidly. We are looking for experienced Leading Hand Boilermaker to join the team. If you have Boiler making experience, are passionate about safety and a good work ethic this is a perfect opportunity for you.
Leading and coordinating a team of both qualified and unqualified fabricators combined with apprentice boilermakers with day-to-day tasks.
Fabricate steel components to a structural standard.
Repair and refurbish building frames and other plant.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Complete all records and paperwork accurately, as directed and required.
NSW Certificate of Proficiency for Cert III Engineering Fabrication
Extensive medium/heavy fabrication experience
Previous experience as a leading hand (preferred but not essential)
GMAW welding experience and must be able to weld to AS/NZS 1554.7:2014 standards and pass a weld test
Ability to read, follow and interpret design drawings & instructions
Ability to work in a team environment
Good organisational skills
Ability to communicate effectively
