BRICKLAYER

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Bricklayer to join our team at Khabra Homes. This role involves constructing and maintaining the structural elements of residential projects, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and design. Task & Responsibilities

Erect and dismantle restricted height scaffolding as needed.
Study plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions, and installation procedures.
Lay bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, spreading mortar between joints for clean finishes.
Seal foundations with damp-resistant materials and spread mortar layers for block placement.
Mix and prepare mortar or concrete for bricklaying projects.
Design and construct arches, chimneys, and other intricate structures.
Perform restoration work on historical structures as needed.
Apply decorative elements such as brick veneer and stone facing.
Install fireproof and heat-resistant bricks where required.
Ensure all work adheres to safety standards and building regulations.
Embed blocks in mortar, remove excess, and ensure alignment for structural integrity.
Cut, shape, and polish stones and bricks using hand tools and machines.
Construct walls, partitions, and masonry structures to architectural specifications.
Repair and maintain bricks, cement blocks, and related structures.
Constructs and repairs walls, partitions, arches, and other structures by laying bricks, pre-cut stones, and various building blocks in mortar.

Qualification & Experience

At least 2 years of proven experience in bricklaying or a similar role.
Proficiency with bricklaying tools and equipment, including trowels, levels, and cutting machines.
Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
High attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality work.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A bricklayer license or certification is preferred.
Physical stamina to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
