Bricklayer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Bricklayer to join our team at BEST VALUE HOMES. As a Bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks and other masonry materials to construct buildings, walls, and other structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Measuring and marking out building sites, following architectural plans and specifications

• Mixing and preparing mortar, and laying bricks and other masonry materials to construct walls, buildings, and other structures

• Cutting bricks to size and shape, and fitting them into place using hand tools and power tools as required

• Repairing and maintaining existing brickwork and masonry structures

• Ensuring that work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations and site rules

• Working collaboratively with other tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, to ensure that projects are completed to a high standard

Skills and Experience:

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Bricklaying

• Minimum [insert number of years] years’ experience in bricklaying, preferably in a construction or building environment

• Strong practical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders
