Bridge Worker - Government - Sydney CBD

APG are currently seeking a Bridge Worker for 3-month contract for a local Government Sector based in Sydney CBD.

The Role: 
Location:  Sydney Harbour Bridge 
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 3 Months 
Pay Rate: $38.90 per hour + Super + Allowances 

Job Details:
The role will be required to undertake a range of functions relating to maintaining timber, steel or concrete bridges, including assisting other trades. The role also operates a range of equipment or machinery and carries out labouring.

Key accountabilities

• Ability to work under limited supervision either in a team environment or independently.
• Capability to deal with routine problems that arise within the sphere of work, without support, through the application of acquired knowledge and reference to standard guidelines and manuals.
• Ability to operate plant or machinery to a high level of skill and achieve predetermined tolerances or standards.
• Provide guidance to other team members and generally responsible for the completion of a function or activity to a quality specification.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems with others assistance.

Required: 

• Current Construction Industry White Card.
• working at Heights
• Willingness to undertake any legislated or internal licensing or ticketing requirements as directed
• It is a prerequisite that applicants possess a current motor vehicle driver's licence.
• The successful applicant may be required to work outside regular working hours.
