BUSH REGENERATION - TEAM MEMBER 

LOCATIONS: Liverpool

Doorunga is seeking Bush Regeneration a Team Member to join the project under the direction of the Project Manager that are passionate about Bush Regeneration and would like to participate in making a difference. 

Suitable candidates must address the following selection criteria and skill attributes.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to travel to and work in the Liverpool region.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, use initiative and be able to have a laugh.

  • Have a passion for practical environmental restoration and weed management with previous bush regeneration experience.

  • Intermediate weed identification, native plant identification skills, or willingness to proactively learn in lieu of.

  • Proven ability to work in remote bushland under various weather conditions and terrain.

  • Adequate level of physical fitness required for manual weed removal

  • Ability to walk long distances and lift a 10kg load.

  • Class C driver’s license.

  • AQF3 chemical application qualifications

  • National Police Check. 

  • Ability to undertake Defence Security clearance process.

  • Ability to undertake and pass a pre- employment medical.

  • Australian Citizenship is a requirement.

Desirable Skills: 

  • Qualifications in Conservation and Land Management desirable or environmental related discipline, (or) working towards related discipline.

  • Experience in or willingness to learn IT platforms such as ARCGIS, Survey 123 and associated software.

  • Current First Aid Certificate.

  • Demonstrated experience in high-volume herbicide spraying units and back-pack sprayers.
