Job Title: Business Analyst - Banking (Mid-Level)
Location: Sydney
Contract Type: 6M contract + extension
Salary: $800-$850 + super
About the Role:
We're looking for a dynamic Business Analyst with a solid background in the banking sector to join a growing transformation team. This mid-level role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is eager to make a tangible impact across large-scale change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements across various change programs.
Contribute to end-to-end transformation initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and strategic objectives.
Drive delivery within your domain, acting as a key liaison between teams to ensure smooth project execution.
Support planning and execution activities during project phases, from discovery through to implementation.
Collaborate on data and system migration efforts where required, ensuring business continuity and minimal disruption.
Requirements:
- 4+ years Business Analysis experience
Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the banking or financial services industry
- Prior Big 4 consulting experience would be advantageous
Hands-on involvement in business transformation projects, ideally in regulated environments.
Strong understanding of project delivery lifecycles, with demonstrable experience contributing to successful outcomes.
Experience with migration projects (desirable but not essential).
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
