Summary: Reporting to the Head of APAC Fund & Institutional Sales, the Business Development Associate, Institutional Sales will play a key role in expanding Corpay Cross Border’s institutional client base. This role focuses on originating and setting up APAC institutional sales meetings, particularly within alternative funds, private capital managers, family offices, and institutional investors.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation & Prospecting:
Identify and engage potential institutional clients, including fund managers, fund administrators, and investment professionals.

Conduct market research to understand prospective clients' business goals, challenges, and risk management needs.

Sales Cycle Management:
Drive prospects through the early stages of the sales process, from initial outreach and qualification to meeting setup.

Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM software and provide regular reports and forecasts to management.

Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives, CFOs, portfolio managers, and key stakeholders within the alternative investment sector.

Establish trust and credibility to position Corpay as a strategic partner for institutional risk management solutions.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis:
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and regulatory developments affecting institutional investments.

Provide insights to internal teams to enhance product offerings and strengthen value propositions.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Communication Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate the value of banking solutions to diverse audiences, including both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Self-Starter Mentality:
Highly motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently and within a team.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
