Role Overview

Pile Vic is seeking a dedicated and reliable Business Development Manager to join our team on a full-time basis.
In this independent role, you'll primarily spend your time traveling to visit customers, drive sales, and shape buying habits. When you're not on the road, you'll engage with customers by phone, plan upcoming activities, schedule meetings, and devise growth strategies.

 
Duties & responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
  • Execute account strategies based on anticipated business needs.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment on business objectives and project deliverables.
  • Complete all call cycles on schedule, recording activities in the CRM.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders in the commercial and residential market to secure ongoing projects.
  • Closing sales and negotiating contract terms.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and building strong, lasting relationships.
  • Forecasting and setting KPI's.
  • Achievement of sales revenue and margin trends.
     
Requirements for Success:
  • Sales experience in the Building and Construction industry is preferred. 
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals in a B2B environment, particularly in the building and construction industry.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a focus on developing long-term relationships with builders.
  • Be a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic, determination, and a passion for exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness take on additional responsibilities as the company expands.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and persuasion.
