About the role:

We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join our high-growth, innovative, and market leading Pest Elimination Division. The Pest Division is present within 34 countries and operates solely within the commercial space. In this role, the successful candidate will manage a territory across Victoria, where you will be directly responsible for winning new business and retaining Key accounts.

In the role you will be given fantastic exposure to the business with the opportunity to Retain, Grow and Gain accounts. The successful applicant will be responsible for offering client innovative solutions and maximising current products and programmes within customer accounts. You will be responsible for driving sales growth with some of the market leading companies within the Hospitality, Quick Service Restaurant and Food & Beverage.

Some of the core responsibilities of the role are as follows;

  • Successfully achieve key account contract sales and profit targets as set out in the annual budget

  • Partner with other Ecolab divisions to identify and leverage existing client relationships to win potential new customers for the Pest Elimination Division

  • Build trust and an exceptional service across your accounts to ensure key account contracts are re-signed

  • Proactively plan and manage account profitability through pricing implementation and contract growth

  • Sell Pest Elimination programs and contracted services by presenting value-added sales strategies as well as winning key accounts within assigned market sectors and geographies

  • Train, mentor and guide sales team colleagues on key technical services as well as providing an in-depth overview of each key account

Our ideal candidate may have;

  • Previous experience working in the Pest Elimination industry or has sold into the F&B, Hospitality, QSR or Healthcare industries

  • Possess exceptional sales negotiation skills and a passion to deliver and exceed client expectations

  • The ability to work autonomously in the field with excellent self-motivation and organisational skills.
