About the Position
Business Development – what does that mean? You will be a part of the team that is solely responsible for the hunting of new customers. You will be fully supported by the Head of Business Development and our lead generation specialist, but the expectation will be that you take ownership of the role, create your own opportunities as well, make it your own and build your success around that ownership.
Location Flexible: Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne (Our head office is in Eight Mile Plains, Brisbane)
What you’ll be doing
Networking with key industry people to identify new customer opportunities
Making phone calls to perspective new customers
Face-to-face meetings, selling the benefits of MomentumPro to those potential new customers
Involvement in all stages of the end-to-end sales process
Travelling to customer sites, so there will be a degree of local driving and also interstate travel (flights, accommodation, and car rental will be supplied by the company)
What we are looking for
Proven track record of success in new business development, preferably within the Software industry
The ability to talk to anyone at any level. You’ll be happy talking to the warehouse manager, able to convey the benefits of MomentumPro to the IT Manager and comfortable negotiating price with the CEO.
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
Proficiency in using CRM systems
Understanding of the IT industry
Prior experience with MomentumPro would be highly regarded
