The Role
This is an exciting new career for an experienced Business Manager, where your people management and leadership skills will see you providing a management advice and service to support our Combat System Support Agent team.
The Business Manager will be responsible to manage and deliver all monthly and quarterly reports to both internal management and external customers. They will need to have excellent people skills to influence the timely and quality delivery of plans, schedules, financial and project status reports. Your planning and management skills will be used to setup and manage appropriate control mechanisms for the wider team to understand when critical deliverables are required.
This role will work closely with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, to develop and maintain effective relationships to deliver strong outcomes.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management, Maintenance, Logistics, Business Management or other relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
At least eight (8) years prior relevant experience in a same or similar role.
Requires advanced to expert knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within the work area.
Requires substantial knowledge of projects, programs, or systems relevant to the business to provide enhancements.
Experience in the establishment and management of integrated schedules relevant experience in strategic planning and ability to identify conflicts and priorities at varying levels of complexity.
Proven experience in complex program management including but not limited to managing of complex lines of communication with customer and stakeholders, managing variable backlog or schedule with compounding interactions that create frequent utilisation challenges.
Strong understanding of EVMS principals
Australian Defence Contracts (AUSDEFCON) style contracts experience
Understanding of Australian Industry Capability (AIC) requirements
Desirable to have knowledge of complex combat system technologies to enable a reasonable understanding of the products being supported
Ability to interpret, understand and modify contract Statement of Work documents and associated attachments
Ability to influence Raytheon functional support to facilitate mutually beneficial arrangements
