The Department for Infrastructure and Transport is seeking driven and dedicated candidates who are ready to apply their verbal and written communication skills and outstanding attention to detail to assist in a dynamic and energetic environment. 

The Business Support Officer is responsible for the provision of a range of specialised support services that contribute to the effective and efficient operation of the Transport Strategy and Planning Division including records management, administrative and executive support, correspondence review and preparation, coordination of meeting documentation and diary and email management.

We are seeking motivated, collaborative and organised candidates with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The successful candidate will communicate clearly and professionally, having a keen eye for detail in all they do with a focus on correspondence and record-keeping and a strong work ethic.

Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite of software and other business applications are vital to succeed in the role, as well as a willingness to learn new tools and build knowledge across the Department.

Special Conditions
The successful candidate will be required to provide a National Police Check prior to employment with the Department which must be renewed every three years.

Some out of hours and weekend work, along with intra/interstate travel may be required.
