About the role

We are seeking an experienced Butcher to join our team at Mckays quality meats' in Langwarrin, VIC. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring we continue to provide the highest quality meat products and exceptional customer service to our loyal clientele.

What you'll be doing

• Expertly prepare, cut, and package a variety of meats to customer specifications

• Provide friendly and knowledgeable service to customers, offering advice on product selection and preparation

• Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked butchery display

• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations

• Assist with the general operations of the store as required

What we're looking for

• Formal butchery qualifications or equivalent extensive experience

• Exceptional meat cutting, trimming, and packaging skills

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide expert product advice

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards

• Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
