NightOwl is an Australian owned and operated Franchise Network who has built a solid reputation in the retail sector and celebrating 50 years this year! Today we boast 83+ stores, consisting of a combination of traditional convenience and convenience & petroleum stores.

We are currently seeking a driven, efficient and motivated person to support our Buying Team. You will need to thrive in a fast-paced environment to support with the demands of an operational support environment. 

The Buying Support role will include:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Offer administrative support to our buyer team.

  • Action the incoming and outgoing communications in a timely manner

  • Maintain and organise important and confidential documents, records and files.

  • Assist with operational tasks, such as project management, data analysis, and process improvement.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Support with promotions and monitor sales movements.

  • Assist with forecasting and managing stock levels.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all procurement activities.

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of product presentations to field teams, ensuring clarity and accuracy are evident at all times.

  • Prepare detailed reports on buying activities, stock levels, and market trends.

  • Collaborate with Retail Operations and Logistics to ensure programs, product placements and changes are clearly communicated.

 Skills & Experience:

  • Proven operational administration experience, preferably in a corporate environment.

  • Committed and hard working with a willingness to learn.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Attention to detail and organised.

  • Strong time management skills. 

  • Positive and proactive attitude. 

  • Takes the initiative to do jobs that need to be done.

  • Knowledge and experience in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.

  • High degree of professionalism and judgement with the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
