As our business continues to expand, we are searching for an experienced Cabinet Maker to join our team full-time and work on new and exciting projects in Melbourne. About You:
- At least 3 years of proven industry experience
- Accountability, proactive team spirit, and effective teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality tasks
- Competence in reading and interpreting architectural plans and drawings
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment
About Your New Role:
- Construct various forms of cabinetry, including kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, using specialized tools and equipment
- Install and repair all types of cabinetry
- Cutting, shaping, and assembling parts and materials to form cabinets
- Install cabinet hardware
- Estimate material requirements
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- Maintain records, including inventory, servicing, and inspection documents
- Examine and interpret drawings and plans to determine requirements
- Perform assigned maintenance tasks
- Communicate effectively with staff and others
- Maintain confidentiality of information
