Cabinetmaker/Trades Assistant

As a result of continuing growth, Holman Kitchens & Cabinetry are seeking an energetic, reliable, experienced and skilled tradesman in the area of cabinetmaking (not necessarily with trade qualifications) to join our team. 

Duties will include:-

• Operating Machinery & Use of Power Tools
• Assembling of Cupboards
• Cabinetmaking duties
• Deliveries 
• General tasks

Ideally the successful applicant will possess the following attributes and skills:-

• Previous experience in a cabinetry/joinery environment preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, keen, punctual and enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn.  
• Be able to work as part of a team and also autonomously. 
• Have great communication and inter-personal skills.

We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, initiative, hardworking and most of all a sense of humour to work within our team!  

Core working hours are Monday to Thursday 6am to 2.30pm and Friday 6am to 12noon.  Overtime also available.

The position offers above award wages, negotiable based on the successful applicants experience and capabilities and a fun and friendly work environment.  

The successful applicant will be based at our factory in Pooraka with some onsite work from time to time.
