Calibration Technician – Field & Workshop-Based Role

We're on the lookout for a technically minded individual to join our growing calibration team. This role involves servicing and calibrating a range of precision equipment used across a variety of industries. You’ll be based on the Northside of  Brisbane, with travel to support clients on-site interstate after initial training.

You’ll receive hands-on training to develop your skills in calibration and quality systems. While experience in calibration or equipment servicing is helpful, it’s not essential — we’re more interested in practical, mechanically minded people who are keen to learn.

This is a mix of workshop-based and on-site work, and travel is part of the role. 

Responsibilities:

• Calibrating and servicing equipment throughout Brisbane and Interstate
• Performing routine maintenance and checks on a wide range of instruments
• Servicing precision tools such as load cells, pressure sensors, force measurement devices, test sieves, and digital gauges
• Preparing calibration records and documentation
• Setting up and maintaining equipment and associated software
• Travelling to client locations as required to carry out scheduled calibrations

To be successful in the role:

• Mechanical, hydraulic or electrical aptitude and previous experience in these areas
• Clear communication skills and a desire to help!
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on the fly
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel throughout Australia
• Previous calibration experience is beneficial but not required
• Must be a permanent resident or hold a long-term unrestricted Australian work visa
