About the Role
As the Campus Operations Manager – SAMI WCH, you will play a key leadership role at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, overseeing the strategic and operational delivery of imaging services. You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and management of all local campus activities, ensuring excellence in clinical service delivery, resource allocation and operational performance within the Department of Radiology. This role requires a proactive, solution-focused leader committed to driving high standards of care and service innovation.

Working in close partnership with the Executive Director of SA Medical Imaging and the Campus Clinical Head, you will ensure service delivery aligns with relevant regulatory, accreditation and policy requirements. You’ll champion a culture of continuous improvement, foster collaboration across teams, and contribute to a quality-focused, patient-centred approach to care. The role also includes a clinical workload and/or dedicated portfolio responsibilities, making it a dynamic and influential position within the broader SAMI leadership team.

About You
You are a dynamic and experienced leader in medical imaging, with strong strategic, clinical, and operational acumen. You bring a proactive and solutions-focused approach to driving service excellence, innovation, and high-performance culture in a complex healthcare environment.

  • Hold an appropriate qualification in Medical Radiations and current registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated leadership and senior management experience in medical imaging within a large, multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
  • Proven ability to drive quality, safety, and performance through effective governance, strategic planning, and resource management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skills, with a strong ability to build partnerships, influence stakeholders, and lead change.
