Tasks & responsibilities

Responsibilities

Construct and install structures and fixtures
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Measure, cut, and shape materials to project specifications as required
Assemble prepared wood to form structures ready for installation
Collaborate with team members on projects
Ensure work is completed on time and within budget
Work with other materials as required

Qualifications & experience

Proven experience as a Carpenter
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Project management experience advantageous
Strong attention to detail, innovative and solutions focused
Creative thinking and innovation is required for this role
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Certificate III in Carpentry or a minimum of three years relevant experience
