Hoek Modular Homes is a North Brisbane based construction business specialising in rural homes, and granny flats . We build new homes on sites around Brisbane, PLUS modular builds in our North Brisbane yards that we transport to regional Australia. 

We have maintained solid growth and are now looking for experienced qualified Carpenter tradesmen to join our team.

For the right person there is real opportunity for training and leadership roles within the business. Personal growth and salary increase can be expected for the right employee. To the right applicant positions for leading hand currently available. 

Possible Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Standing frames, various claddings, Fixouts

• Mentoring and training apprentices

• Working to schedules and budgets

• General Carpentry

• Splitting houses ready for transport (Training provided)

• Opportunity for away allowance for travelling regionally to install transportables. 

Qualifications, Expectations & Experience: 

• A Certificate III in Carpentry

• Own transport and good range of own tools

• A keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills

• Multiple yrs of experience as a hands-on carpenter

• Trade qualifications & White Card

• Proven experience in construction industry 

• Strong communication skills

• Strong work ethic and used to working with teams

• Experience in reading and interpreting construction plans
