A full time opportunity currently exists for a professional and approachable person to be the first point of contact for our Melbourne Office. Performing a variety of general administration tasks including reception duties, the successful candidate will also provide support to the operations team as Cartage Coordinator.

 

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Answering incoming telephone calls

  • Coordinating transport carriers

  • Liaising with customers, transport companies, freight forwarders and unpacking agents

  • Preparing associated paperwork for transport companies

  • Following up on deliveries and FCL dehires

  • Entering creditor invoices

  • Other general office administration tasks as required

 

To be considered for this role, you must have strong computer skills, excellent communication, professional presentation, will be motivated, organised and reliable to ensure all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.
