Newborn Nanny Position Castle Hill, NSW

Start Date: 2 May 2025
Contract Term: 6 to 12 months with potential to extend
Pay: Up to $40 $45 per hour
Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
Hours: 7:30am 5:00pm
Children: 1 newborn (born April 2025)
Pets: One small dog (no care required)

About the Role

A family in Castle Hill is seeking a calm, experienced, and reliable nanny to help care for her baby three days per week.
The ideal candidate will be mature (aged 30 60), confident with newborn routines, and able to provide both gentle infant care and light household support.

Typical responsibilities include:
️ Bottle preparation and sterilisation
️ Feeding and settling baby to sleep
️ Changing nappies and clothing
️ Supporting bath time
️ Light housekeeping: laundry, tidying, dishes, vacuuming, wiping benches
A driver s licence and your own car are essential, though you won t need to transport the baby at this stage.

Ideal Nanny

The family is seeking someone who is:

• Aged 30 to 60, with extensive experience caring for newborns
• Calm, patient, and supportive
• Comfortable with light home duties and being a steady helping hand
• Qualified in childcare, and confident with newborn needs and routines

Minimum Requirements

All applicants must:
️ Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
️ Hold a current Working With Children s Check
️ Have strong communication skills and speak fluent English
️ Be non-smoking
