STREAT is seeking a casual barista and all-rounder with several years' experience to work at various sites in the CBD, Richmond, and Collingwood, Mon-Fri. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday availability is a must.

You'll be working with a range of friendly and passionate people who take pride in their work and have fun doing it.


We are looking for a barista and all-rounder to work 20-30 hours available per week, across almost a dozen cafes in the CBD, Richmond, and Collingwood. You will need to be available to work Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, with shifts on Monday and Friday optional.

What’s the role look like?

  • Work Mon-Fri, with most shifts being 7-3 or 8-12
  • Make coffee alongside passionate coworkers who aspire to cultivate a positive work environment
  • Assist with the day-to-day operational activities of a quick-service takeaway coffee venue - including taking orders, making coffee, serving, cleaning
  • Basic food preparation (toasties)
  • Most of our trade is takeaway, with some dine in service
  • Act as a role model for the young people in our training programs.

Experience and skills preferred

  • Minimum of 1 year speciality coffee experience
  • Understand how to make grinder adjustments while pulling shots
  • Pour high quality milk coffees with basic latte art at a decent speed
  • Eager to engage and chat with customers, and remember faces and names
  • A Working With Children Check is required to be undertaken, reimbursed by us after 3 month's employment.
