The Opportunity

Exciting opportunities exist within Food Services to join us as a Café Assistant (WHA2) on a casual basis. Staff will be rostered over a seven-day roster working either a morning or afternoon shift on an on call basis.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Day to day operations of the Gilbert and Nic Nath Café.
  • Barista coffee making.
  • Customer Service.
  • Food and beverage preparation.
  • Sales and transactions.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Barista coffee making experience.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of an effective team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers at all levels, cultures and backgrounds.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene principles and Work, Health & Safety principles.
