Catering Attendant (Weekday Mornings) 

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking an experienced and reliable Catering Attendant to work mornings in our purpose-built kitchen. 

We are seeking someone to deliver a high-quality food service for Boarding House students and staff members. 

You will:

• Work alongside a dedicated Catering team in a state of the art kitchen

• Ensure all food items produced and delivered from the kitchen are fresh and of high-quality 

• Take pride in the upkeep and cleanliness of the kitchen and dining room facilities

Context of the role

The School provides boarding facilities for over 100 boys from Years 7-12. A full catering service is provided for boarders, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, together with morning and afternoon tea. 

The catering team also provides lunch for teaching and non-teaching staff during term times and catering service for a variety of school-based functions throughout the year.

General working hours are Monday to Friday, 6.30am to 2.30pm or 7.00am to 3.00pm, during School terms. Function hours are determined by the Catering Manager. Occasional shifts outside of these hours may also be available.

• Appropriate experience and/or qualifications

• Accredited Food Handling Certificate
