We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and creative Chef/Cook to join our award-winning early childhood service in Camperdown!
In this role you will be required to plan, create, prepare and serve fresh, delicious and nutritious meals to the children that attend our service daily. Menu development and encouraging child participation in the cooking process are key aspects along with helping us to empower our families with knowledge on optimal meal and food requirements for very young children.

Our ideal candidate will meet the following selection criteria:
- Experience in developing creative and interactive cooking experiences
- Knowledge of allergies and food intolerances
- Experience in devising, reviewing and adhering to Food Safety Program requirements.
Essential Criteria:
- Current Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willing to obtain prior to starting at own expense)
- Recognised culinary qualification (or recent experience as a Chef/Cook ideally within an Early Childhood setting)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Valid Working with Children Check
- Available to work Mondays and Tuesdays from 8am to 4pm with some flexibility to cover the leave of of other Chefs/Cooks as required
- Able to commence work in June 2024.
