CFO/Head of Finance

They’ve engaged us to help find a dynamic Chief Financial Officer to join their executive leadership team and help shape the next phase of their growth.

As CFO, you’ll play a critical role in leading the finance function while contributing strategically across the broader business. Your responsibilities will span three core areas:

1. Finance Leadership

You’ll take ownership of the end-to-end finance function, including:

• Leading and developing a small, capable finance team

• Overseeing monthly financial reporting and ensuring accuracy and timeliness

• Managing compliance obligations including tax, audit, banking, and company secretarial matters

• Ensuring adherence to all regulatory and industry reporting requirements

2. Strategic Partnering

You’ll work closely with the CEO and senior leadership to support strategic decision-making:

• Assessing the commercial performance of each venue and providing insights to inform strategy

• Identifying and evaluating investment opportunities and funding options

3. Project & Systems Leadership

You’ll lead key initiatives to modernise and optimise operations, including:

• Reviewing and upgrading finance and IT systems to meet future needs

• Identifying and implementing best-practice processes across the business

• Assessing capital projects and building robust business cases

• Enhancing the quality, accessibility, and impact of financial reporting

You’ll bring a blend of technical expertise, commercial acumen, and inspiring leadership. Ideally, you’ll have:

• A professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)

• 10+ years’ experience leading finance teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments

• Proven success in managing finance system upgrades and implementations

• A broad skillset—from regulatory compliance to commercial partnering

• The ability to inspire trust, build relationships, and bring people on the journey
