Make a meaningful impact with a leading national mental health NFP12 Month Fixed Term – Full TimeSydney CBD location with hybrid working arrangements ORGANISATION Join Lifeline Australia and you will be helping to support the delivery of critical services ensuring that “no person in Australia has to face their darkest moments alone.” Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. They are committed to empowering Australians to be suicide-safe through connection, compassion and hope. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation. ROLE Reporting to the Head of Change, this role will lead and deliver change management and communication strategies for priority business and technology projects. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our initiatives are embraced and adopted across Lifeline Australia and our wider network of Members. You will develop and implement change management plans, engage stakeholders, support leadership sponsorship, and contribute to building organisational readiness all while embedding best-practice methodologies and ensuring alignment with Lifeline’s strategic priorities. Responsibilities Design and implement change management strategies that align with project and organisational objectives.Integrate change activities into project plans and timelines, working closely with program and project managers.Conduct stakeholder, impact, and readiness assessments.Develop and deliver targeted communication and engagement plans.Build trusted relationships across internal teams, Member centres, and executive sponsors.Support behaviour change, manage resistance, and drive sustainable adoption. Requirements Tertiary qualifications and/or certification in Change Management (e.g., PROSCI, CCMP).Demonstrated experience managing change across complex business and/or technology initiatives.Experience with stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and problem-solving in fast-paced environments.Strong communication skills with the ability to create compelling and clear messaging.Experience working in both commercial and non-profit sectors is highly regarded.Project management certification and experience in digital/cloud/workforce transformations (desirable).
