The opportunity

The Change Manager will work collaboratively with project teams and peers focusing on preparing the organisation for change, ensuring change adoption, realising maximum benefits, and mitigating any negative impacts to both internal staff and external customers. 

Key responsibilities 

The Change Manager will implement and continuously improve our change management strategy, framework and toolkit and organisation-wide approach for managing change and building change readiness, embedding the structured approach to change management into the organisation. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assessing change readiness and identifying key stakeholders.
  • Creating change management plans for projects or change initiatives acknowledging all aspects of change - analysis, plan, implementation, communication and other associated change considerations.
  • Developing change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles.
  • Preparing impact analyses and evaluation of the actual impact of changes
  • Analysing and preparing risk mitigation tactics and processes
  • Close collaboration with the Projects Managers to integrate change management activities into project

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Appropriate change management certification.
  • Degree qualified (business, human resource, organisational psychology or related field). Post graduate qualifications (desirable).
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully leading complex change management process and strategy at an enterprise level in relation to digital system implementations
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal), and the ability to adapt communications to suit a variety of audiences ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
  • Acute business acumen and understanding of organisational issues and challenges.
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle, including Scrum and Agile Ways of Working.
