Maintain an overall knowledge and passion of food and menu design.
Adhere to all relevant health and safety standards, including meticulous cleaning standards.
Maintain a high standard and consistent approach to all levels of food and service delivery.
Responsible for menu design, food and labour costings, purchasing, stock management and kitchen staff rostering
Manage kitchen staff in a motivational manner and treat them with respect.
Manage scheduled maintenance of kitchen equipment

Qualifications & experience

Fully qualified chef
Team player and able to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional manner
Prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen
Modern, contemporary, and innovative culinary skills
Be motivated for great service delivery
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines in a calm and methodical manner.

About Company

62 Thirty Café and Bar is a new beachfront restaurant in Bunbury. The café operates from 7am to 3pm Tuesday to Sunday, however hours will change in summer with evening openings commencing soon.

The café has an amazing outlook over Koombana Bay and aesthetically you couldn’t ask for a more gorgeous view while you work.
