Task & Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to menu specifications
- Ensure food preparation meets the highest standards of quality and hygiene
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain a smooth workflow
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to minimize waste
- Adhere to all food safety regulations and procedures
Qualification & Experience
- Proven at least 2 years experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Meticulous approach to food preparation and presentation
- Have a full operational knowledge of all recipes, standards, portion sizes and presentation style of dishes produced within the kitchen
- Check the freshness and quality of ingredients
- Prepare curries, sauces and desserts as and when required
