Task & Responsibilities
  • Plan and develop innovative, seasonal menus tailored to customer preferences, estimating food and labor costs to ensure profitability.
  • Order and manage food supplies, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, maintaining flavor consistency and presentation quality.
  • Monitor the quality of dishes at every stage of preparation and presentation to meet high standards.
  • Collaborate with Managers, Dietitians, and kitchen staff to address food preparation, dietary needs, and menu adjustments.
  • Demonstrate cooking techniques and provide training to enhance the skills of kitchen staff.
  • Enforce food safety and hygiene standards, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Supervise and select kitchen staff, fostering a cohesive and efficient team.
  • Preserve and freeze foods as needed to optimize ingredient usage and maintain quality.
  • Address customer feedback on dishes, adjusting recipes and presentations to improve satisfaction.
  • Create new recipes and incorporate seasonal changes to keep the menu dynamic and engaging.
Qualification & Experience
  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Chef in a fast-paced kitchen or restaurant environment.
  • Certification in Commercial Cookery is required.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Ability to plan and manage menus, including estimating costs and managing inventory.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • A creative approach to culinary innovation with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
