We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef to join our team. As a Chef, you will specialize in preparing, cooking, and presenting a variety of dishes with precision and creativity. Tasks & responsibilities

•    Planning and organizing the preparation and cooking for all day Breakfast and Lunch services, as well as special events.
•    Creating and developing innovative menus, considering cost and seasonal availability of ingredients.
•    Accommodating dietary requirements.
•    Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation.
•    Following portion control standards to reduce food waste and checking food rotation to ensure the freshness of Food Items
•    Supervising and training Kitchen staff, ensuring consistency and high standards in food production.
•    Managing kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining budgetary controls.
•    Keeping the kitchen outlet clean and always maintain a high standard of hygiene.
•    Complying with all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
•    Performing work in a safe manner and use any safety equipment provided.
•    Collaborating with management and other staff members to deliver exceptional service.

Qualifications & experience

Qualification &  Experience
•    Education: Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery or related field 
•    Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a commercial kitchen.

Requirement

•    Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of culinary creations.
•    Comprehensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, ingredients, and cuisines.
•    Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
•    Strong leadership and communication abilities to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
•    Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for long hours and working in high-pressure conditions.
•    Strong organizational, teamwork, and communication skills
