Kohinoor Indian Restaurant is seeking an experienced Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Indian cuisine and thrive in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen. Join us in delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our valued guests.
Benefits
Salary range: $74,000 to $80,000 per Annum + Superannuation
Task & responsibilities
- Menu planning, including daily specials.
- Managing costing, budgeting, and ordering of kitchen supplies.
- Selecting, training, and managing kitchen and support staff.
- Preparing and cooking food, as well as overseeing service management.
- Ensuring compliance with OH&S and food safety standards.
Qualification & experience
- A Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent in a related field and at least year experience as a Chef, preferably in an Indian restaurant.
- Excellent time management abilities.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proven management skills, including team leadership and operational oversight.
