Shangri-La Sydney is looking for a talented and passionate Chef de Partie to join our Pastry team.
About the role:
- Participates in the preparation, cooking and presentation of food for the respective outlets.
- Carry out work tasks across all kitchen with a focus on Pastry.
- Oversees the day to day running of the Pastry Kitchen in the absence of either the Head Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef.
- Assists the Head Pastry Chef in reviewing and analysing existing menus and recipes.
- Actively participates in the creation of new menus and dishes.
- Prepares and ensures that all food is prepared and served according to the Shangri-La’s Food Safety Management and HACCP standards and procedures
- Assists the Head Pastry Chef in ensuring that all Kitchen equipment is in good working order.
A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery is mandatory for all positions or international equivalent, along with a Food safety certificate.
You must have full time work rights in Australia.
Student Visa holders will not be considered, as we require full-time ongoing employment at this stage.
