Have you got a wish list of what you want in your new job? Choose a mix of the below on offer, but not all are necessary for this role as each team member makes the role specific to their goals:
Do you want to be part of a dynamic, supportive team?
Do you want to have in-house clinical supervision from a range of approaches?
Do you want to have flexibility in who you see, when you work, and hours you work?
Do you want a salary with a professional development allowance of up to 3 days a year paid leave or equivalent in stipend?
Do you want to be supported through an endorsement program?
Do you want to be supported to become a board approved supervisor?
Would you like to run groups, or broaden your scope so you are not doing just one-on-one clinical work?
Have no employer breathing down your neck or micro-managing you?
Would you like the choice of a subcontractor role with extra flexibility so you build your own niche?
Do you want 10 administration staff to handle all that extra paperwork, phone calls and keep your appointment book managed for you?
Do you want to work with children and adolescents?
Do you want to learn how to do a thorough autism or ADHD assessment?
Do you want work/ life balance?
Regular salary review to reflect your hard work.
Feel valued?
If a combination of these excites you, we have positions available for Child and Adolescent psychologists. As a practice we value having a lovely conflict-free environment, along with providing a supportive and professional environment for you to work in each day. Our team members have a huge say in how they practice, including days/ hours and clients they wish to see. Work life balance is STRONGLY encouraged, with a typical full-time week just 4 days!!
If you have never worked in private practice, or previously felt unsupported in private practice, we are a refreshing change as support is our key focus. This is why we have such small staff turnover, with maternity leave and a beautiful team member moving away the main reasons we have had to recruit.
WHO ARE WE?
Redlands Psychologists is one of the largest child, family and adult referral practices in the Redlands, with a team of over 20 psychologists and a large administration staff. We are well respected, thereby receive a variety of referrals for children, adolescents and adults with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, parenting, grief, behavioural issues, neurodiversity, assessments, self-esteem and other general counselling issues. We pride ourselves on creating a professional, warm, welcoming and supportive environment in which our practitioners and staff enjoy coming to work. We stand out as a place to work as we offer free in-house clinical supervision (and even for endorsement), and regular peer supervision with both internal and external presenters. Additionally, very attractive salary or subcontractor rates are available. We are big enough that you choose what presentations you would like to see, rather than watering down your expertise across all presentations.

We are not like other places, and we offer a lot that other places simply don’t, or can’t, provide. So, I asked my team what they would say in an ad, and I have listed some of the team's comments below:
"Supportive and friendly practice promoting independence and flexibility as a psychologist whilst also providing a collaborative and caring workspace with a team of hand-picked professionals" – Tatum
“As an early career psychologist, I have found Redlands to be a very welcoming environment. There are great opportunities for supervision with colleagues who have expertise in a variety of different areas. I have felt supported to see a comfortable number of clients per day and expand my skills in the areas I am interested.” - Lana
"Redlands Psychologists is a lively and engaging place to work. Psychologists are provided a flexible working environment and offered support from supervisors with diverse expertise. There are also many opportunities for professional growth and upskilling." - Georgia
Redlands Psychologists offers a flexible working environment that encourages both personal and professional growth. We value close and communicative practice between practitioners and believe that our supportive team dynamic acts as the foundation for effective and empathic clinical practice. – Bec
"I enjoy working for a practice that encourages flexibility and independence in clinical approach. Collaboration with colleagues is encouraged and easily accessed." - Sophia
"Working at Redlands Psychologists has been by far one of the best workplaces I had the opportunity to work. When I was going through the hiring process with Debbie I thought it was too good to be true as she was always so approachable, honest, kind and saying about how important is for her that the psychs have a nice work balance. It was the greatest surprise when everything was actually true. I felt welcomed and supported by everyone, not only I have great work colleagues but now I have friends here too. BTW - the coffee is great!" - Larissa
There is no shortage of jobs advertised in this field, but there is a shortage of employers who truly walk the talk and value their staff. We have had staff move from interstate and overseas just to be part of something special whilst having the opportunity to live in the best place in the world (not biased). Join us and find out why! Please look on our website to learn more about us and if you think you may be a great fit for our team, please email ******@redlandspsych.com.au. Don’t forget to send me your resume and a letter outlining your goals and why you really want to join our team.
Cheers
Debbie
