About Eastern OOSH
We are a private organisation focused on delivering high quality education and care at our outside of school hours care services in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs. We are looking for a reliable childcare administrator to join our team with strong admin and customer service skills to look after the administration of the services.
Hours:
28-30 hours per week
Shift times between the hours of 10am and 6pm, Monday - Friday
Qualifications & experience
Tertiary qualification, current WWCC and Police Check
Knowledge of the Child Care Subsidy (CCS) and processes to assist families with payment of fees (desirable)
Demonstrated administration, organisational and time management skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in an accurate and timely manner
Attention to detail
Strong Customer Service Skills over phone, email and in person
Demonstrated numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
Proficient computer skills
OWNA and MYOB experience (desirable)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Effective relationship building and interpersonal skills with a customer orientated focus
Tasks & responsibilities
Work within a team and report to the management team coordinators and Directors.
Provide accurate and timely information and customer service in a professional manner
Develop positive relationships with staff, children, families and other stakeholders
Responsible for a variety of processes including but not limited to, email management, processing direct debit fee charges in OWNA, processing payments, data entry, managing OWNA processes, reporting, processing funding applications, receipting, errands and recording and maintaining enrolment records
Provide administrative support to a range of internal and external stakeholders, including filing, updating records, ordering resources, food and consumables supplies, archiving records, answering phone calls
Set up administrative systems and procedures to ensure work is completed to a high standard
Working with the Centre Directors to enrol new families including waitlist management, new family set up and maintaining a high level of utilisation
Maintain and ensure confidentiality at all times when exchanging information with families and staff
Manage and organise staff documents and do compliance checks to ensure records are up to date
Assisting in the recruitment process, placing ads, following up on payroll documentation
Processing/ assisting with payroll each week
Management of Compliance records and completing compliance checklists to ensure the service is up to date
Organising training and maintaining records of qualifications
Assisting in organising staff events and catering
Perform any other duties as requested by the Management team consistent with the position.
