Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $73,200 – $80,000 + Super (Meals and Accommodation included)
Location: Tennant Creek, Northern Territory
We seek a fun, energetic and motivated new team member to join us full-time.
Responsibilities
- Choosing ingredients to ensure quality in an award-winning Chinese restaurant.
- Regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
- Prepare, cook, and season food based on knowledge of Asian cuisine.
- Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding gravies, sauces and garnishes.
- Managing food storage based on high standards to ensure quality meals.
- Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements.
- Contribution to the preparation of menus and ordering of ingredients.
Skills
- Previous experience working in fast-paced, high-volume restaurants
- Proficiency in working with Asian cuisine, especially Chinese
- Ability to motivate others and be self-driven
- A willingness to learn and grow
- An exceptional work ethic and can-do attitude
- Pride in the work you produce and have passion for what you do.
- Professional and inclusive attitude towards your colleagues, front and back of house
