Civil Labourer

Fetch Recruitment is currently seeking reliable and hard-working labourers for ongoing casual work through labour hire across a range of civil construction projects in both metropolitan and regional Melbourne. Projects include new subdivisions, road construction, pipelines, quarry work, landscaping, and more.

Your duties may include:

• Taking measurements and setting levels
• Assisting subcontractors – concreting, drainage, landscaping
• Digging trenches and installing electrical/NBN conduits
• Potentially operating machinery – Roller, Loader, Moxy & more (must hold valid tickets)
• General site setup and clean-up (fencing, flagging, material handling)
• Spotting and working safely around machinery

Pay Benefits:

• $32 – $34 per hour
• $21.94 daily travel allowance
• $18.53 daily meal allowance (after 9.5 hours worked)
• Overtime penalty rates apply

What You’ll Need:

• Construction White Card
• Australian driver’s license and own reliable transport
• Previous labouring experience preferred (not essential)
• Relevant civil plant tickets - Roller, Moxy, Excavator (not essential)
• Ability to pass drug & alcohol testing
