About the Role

This role is located in Mackay and would suit someone looking to take the next steps in their career. It involves but is not limited to:

• Assist Account Managers and Broker Assistants to manage and service the claims process of an existing portfolio of clients.

• Process claims in an accurate & efficient manner.

• Provide general backup and support to the Account Managers or Broker Assistants if and when required. 

• Provide excellent claims assistance, ensuring the client is satisfied with the handling of the claim.

• Maintain client satisfaction and retention levels.

• Maintain professional relationships with insurers/underwriters for the provision of financial services to clients in meeting claims service standards.

About You

• Sound computer skills, confident communication skills, teamwork and strong documentation skills;

• The ability to work unsupervised within a team environment;

• Career focused, responsible, self-motivated and enthusiastic;

• A Tier 2 in insurance broking is valued, however we are happy to support you in achieving this qualification. 

• Interest in learning about claims and receiving on the job training and qualifications.

• Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload
