At BJS Insurance Brokers, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Claims Consultant – Property Insurance to join our claims team. This role focuses on managing a portfolio of property claims – including strata, residential, and commercial – ensuring clients receive outstanding service, advice, and support through the entire claims process.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys the challenge of navigating property claims and is passionate about delivering a high standard of client care.

What you will be doing?

• Manage end-to-end property-related claims from lodgement to finalisation

• Provide expert support to clients including updates, advice, and claims guidance

• Liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, and other stakeholders to ensure timely outcomes

• Handle calls and emails with professionalism and empathy

• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in line with company procedures

• Support the broking team on complex property matters when required

What You’ll Bring:

• Previous experience managing property insurance claims is highly regarded

• An understanding of strata, residential, and/or commercial property insurance

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• A collaborative and client-focused approach

• Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development
