About the Organisation

The Victorian Aboriginal Health Service (VAHS) was established in 1973 to address the specific medical needs of Victorian Aboriginal communities. 2023 marked a landmark year as VAHS proudly celebrated its 50-year of providing a comprehensive range of medical, dental, allied health and social services for our community.

About the Opportunity

In this role you will be responsible for the daily cleaning and maintaining the VAHS Fitzroy site Monday to Friday. You will be working unsupervised to provide a high-quality cleaning service.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is achieved covering all required areas of the site daily.

• Ensure that sufficient deep cleaning of areas is done on a regular basis

• To maintain an excellent working knowledge of cleaning team protocols and procedures, ensuring that the cleaning schedule is always followed.

• To complete and sign paperwork accurately to ensure that cleaning has taken place and has been checked as appropriate.

• To report any maintenance issues within the site to the maintenance officer as soon as possible.

• Ensure cleaning cupboard and any other cleaner storage areas are always left clean and tidy.

Prerequisites

• Victorian Working with Children’s Check

• National Police Check

• Driver’s License.
