Role Overview

The Clinic Coordinator / Pharmacy Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth, professional, and customer-focused operation to support  our health clinics and dispensary. This position combines technical pharmacy support with frontline customer engagement, embodying the Formulae standard of compassionate care and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispensing Support:

    • Accurately and efficiently prepare compounded prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, adhering to Formulae's SOPs and regulatory standards for Clinics Managed

    • Maintain meticulous records of formulations, ingredients, batch numbers, and dispensing logs.

    • Manage and monitor compounding supplies, inventory control, and order preparation.

  • Customer Service & Clinic Coordination:

    • Act as the first point of contact for patients and prescribers via telephone, email, and in-person.

    • Manage patient appointments, prescription intakes, and clinic administrative tasks.

    • Provide information on compounded medicines, usage instructions, and care advice within scope of practice.

    • Coordinate seamless communication between pharmacists, practitioners, and patients.

  • Team Support:

    • Uphold the “Formulae Way” by fostering a caring, respectful, and knowledgeable environment.

    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, innovation projects, and team education.

    • Support pharmacists in daily operations including quality assurance tasks.

Essential Requirements

  • Dispensing Knowledge:
    Minimum of 2 years' pharmacy dispensing experience in a retail, hospital, or preferably compounding pharmacy setting.

  • Technical Experience:
    Knowledge of pharmaceutical compounding procedures, equipment usage, and handling of raw ingredients is highly desirable.

  • Customer Service Excellence:
    Demonstrated history of delivering outstanding patient service in a healthcare environment, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Attitude & Values:
    A sensational attitude characterised by empathy, resilience, positivity, teamwork, and a deep commitment to patient-centred care.

  • Administrative Competence:
    Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with pharmacy software systems and Microsoft Office.

  • Availability:
    Available to work 4 days per week with flexibility to cover occasional additional shifts if required. Immediate start 

  • Compliance:
    Current unrestricted work rights in Australia, police check, and (where applicable) 

  • Sponsorship maybe an option for the ideal candidate. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician Certificate III or IV

  • Previous experience in a Compounding Pharmacy

  • Lives in Brisbane
