About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

  • In accordance with policies, procedures, guidelines, and prescribed professional and ethical standards, independently perform, report, analyse and interpret findings of routine Clinical Measurement Scientist (Cardiac) investigations including but not limited to: ECG, Holter Monitoring application and analysis, Exercise stress testing, patient monitoring component in Nuclear Medicine stress and Stress Echocardiography testing, tilt table testing, event monitoring and BP monitoring.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with multidisciplinary team members, patients, and their families/carers to ensure common understanding of Cardiac Clinical Investigation testing processes and to enable effective patient outcomes.
  • Contribute to operational management activities such as collection of statistics, appropriate and safe use of allocated resources and the analysis and interpretation of multidisciplinary Cardiac Investigations Unit evaluation data to make recommendations about improvements to Clinical Measurement Scientist (Cardiac) services.
