Opportunity to grow and learn in a dynamic environment! Your new company A leading national banking organisation based in Brisbane is seeking a permanent Cloud Engineer to join their team. This role will involve building modern data platforms using GCP services.

Your new role You will help build a central data platform using existing technologies within a hybrid cloud environment. Some of your day-to-day duties will include:

Design, build, test, and support secure and scalable data tools Solve complex engineering problems Collaborate effectively within various teams

Utilise tools and practices to build, verify, and deploy solutions efficiently, with a strong emphasis on software fundamentals Provide ongoing support for platforms as needed, including problem and incident management What you'll need to succeed

You will have experience using GCP services and have experience delivering solutions in a complex enterprise environment. Your key competencies will include: Hands-on experience in Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform, Puppet, Chef, Ansible)

Primary proficiency in Python Hands-on experience with Containerisation Technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) Strong emphasis on code and configuration management, CI/CD automation, and automated testing
