Russell Symes and Company is an ISO 9001 quality certified manufacturer of micro precision components using CNC lathes and machining centres. We manufacture and supply high quality parts to the Australian and International medical, defence, aerospace and telecommunications industries. We are looking to employ an experienced full time CNC machinist commencing immediately.

The successful applicant will have:

·         Successfully completed Mechanical Engineering Trade Certificate.

·         Experience in programming, setting and running Citizen Sliding Head CNC Lathes.

·         Proficient in G Code Programming.

·         Experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi CNC Control Units.

·         Proficient in the use of Fusion 360 Software to generate 3D programs for CNC Lathes and Mills.

·         Experienced in a precision medical manufacturing environment.

·         Experience with producing manufactured components within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System.

·         A positive attitude towards work and training.

·         Self starting.

·         Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

·         Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
