Commercial Analyst

We currently have an opportunity for a proactive and results driven Finance Analyst with demonstrated business partnering ability to join our team. In this role you’ll sit alongside our Digital Imaging business unit – working with the team directly to conduct business analysis through formulating reports, evaluating proposals, and making recommendations based on data analysis. We’re looking for someone who has a strong analytical background, with the confidence & ability to communicate with all levels of the business, both locally and internationally. 

About the role:

• Manage the business unit budget and forecasting process
• Conduct periodic review meetings with various business unit managers, including generating and analysing data, and recommending opportunities for improvement 
• Measure and analyse business unit performance against set KPIs 
• Conduct data analysis used to formulate reports that evaluate commercial viability and provide recommendations for business proposals 
• Provide historical / trend analysis and modelling for business forecasts and proposals
• Respond to finance related queries from assigned business units
• Respond to profitability analysis queries for Region/HQ as required

About you:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance/Accounting/Commerce or related field
• Demonstrated business partnering experience
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business 
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Ability to work as part of a team, while comfortable working independently
• High attention to detail, accountability and initiative 
• Ability to maintain a flexible attitude and approach towards tasks and successfully operate in a fast paced, often ambiguous environment
• Sales company experience highly advantageous
